All about LandScale Refresh
The LandScale platform has undergone a refresh in order to improve user experience.
We’re excited to introduce the newly refreshed LandScale platform – a significant upgrade designed to enhance your experience and make landscape sustainability assessments more intuitive, flexible, and efficient. This refresh reflects our continued commitment to supporting your work with tools that are easy to use, visually engaging, and aligned with real user needs. From a redesigned interface to a streamlined workflow, every change is built on your feedback.
As the demand for transparent, credible sustainability assessments continues to grow, it has become essential to enhance the LandScale platform’s functionality, design, and user interface. This refresh ensures that users can more easily navigate the platform, access relevant tools and resources, and carry out assessments with greater efficiency and clarity. These updates reflect LandScale’s commitment to continuous improvement and its role in driving landscape-level sustainability outcomes.
The refresh also responds to valuable feedback from users and partners who have highlighted areas where the platform could better serve their needs. By streamlining workflows, improving data visualization, and strengthening the overall user experience, the updated platform provides a more intuitive and responsive environment. This ensures that both new and returning users are better equipped to measure and communicate the sustainability performance of landscapes—helping to inform decision-making and promote positive environmental and social impacts.
What’s New?
A More Intuitive Interface
Experience our refreshed platform with a modern dark theme that reflects LandScale’s updated brand identity. It’s not just stylish—it’s easier on the eyes and optimized for accessibility.
We’ve simplified the way you move through the platform. Whether you’re starting a new assessment or reviewing progress of your existing assessment, the streamlined interface helps you stay focused and efficient.
LandScale is now more inclusive than ever. On-screen navigation is available in French, Spanish, and Bahasa, making it easier for our global users to engage with the platform. However, English remains the primary language for text input and public-facing content.

A Streamlined Workflow
We’ve reduced the number of steps in the assessment workflow from five to just three, making it faster and easier to complete and publish landscape profiles:
- Step A: General Information – Define your landscape boundary and enter assessment and payment details.
- Step B: Indicators, Metrics & Data – Choose from Core or Additional indicators, and Essential or Complementary metrics. You now have full flexibility with guidance from LandScale’s Core indicators to build a holistic baseline.
- Step C: Evaluation – Assess your metrics with an improved interface and enhanced commenting tools to support better collaboration across teams.

New Flexible Pricing Scheme
To better support a diverse range of users and landscape initiatives, LandScale now offers a more dynamic and flexible pricing scheme. Whether you’re conducting a pilot or a large-scale assessment, you can choose a pricing tier that aligns with the scope and needs of your project. Additionally, you have the opportunity to design a pricing option that suits your specific needs, even if that option is not included in our current pricing offer. This change ensures greater accessibility to the platform’s tools while maintaining the high quality and rigor that LandScale is known for.

Simplified Validation
The validation process has also been overhauled for clarity and ease. All feedback and changes are logged in a centralized comments panel, making it easier to track discussions and ensure quality. Any edits made after validation will automatically prompt a revalidation before publication.
